Samsung Galaxy A50 is the latest phone to get October 2021 Android security patch

Samsung began rolling out the October 2021 Android security patch a few days before September ended, and the Korean conglomerate continues with its release as the Galaxy A50 becomes the latest smartphone to get the latest security update.

The Galaxy A50 is also the company's first mid-ranger to get the October 2021 patch since all other Samsung phones that got the October security update are flagships.

The new firmware comes with version number A505GUBS9CUI3, but it doesn't bring any improvements to the Galaxy A50 other than bumping up its Android security patch level.

The update is currently seeding in Bolivia, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic, and the rollout should expand to other countries soon.
